Why call out Big Papi?

According to David Schoenfield of ESPN David Ortiz called out a couple of reporters from the MLB Network this past Monday about him possibly using P.E.D s in the past after the Red Soxs had finish their series against Nelson Cruz and the Baltimore Orioles.

What the MLB Network Analysts siad was that David Ortiz was recieving a "free pass" on the MLB's Biogenesis investigation of the baseball players who were recorded for using P.E.D's in 2003 according to a survey testing. "In this country, nobody gets a free pass," Ortiz said, according to WEEI.com of Boston. "He wants to make it sound like I got a free pass because nobody can point fingers at me directly. But the reason why I got that fake [expletive] free pass that he's saying is because they pointed fingers at me with no proof."

All of this came to be becasue of Ortiz's teammate John Lackey had someting to say about Nelson Cruz coming back this year after being suspsended last year for P.E.D. usage and his current performance on the field. But to attack "Big Papi" is downright wrong, he wasn't proven guilty for using P.E.D's in the past so his name shouldn't be connected with P.E.D.s unless proven otherwise.
