Did the NFL get it Right?

As the 2015-2016 NFL Season is one month away there is one question that is repeatedly asked. Was Roger Goodell and NFL right in suspending Tom Brady for 4 games?

Now for those who may not understand why Tom Brady is being suspended in the first place let me bring you up to speed. Last Season in the AFC Championship against the Indianapolis Colts it was reported that Tom Brady and the New England Patriots had 11 out of 12 footballs deflated in that game which they had won 45-7. Many spectators have already let their opinions be known since the end of the AFC Championship Game. Some have said that the underinflated footballs are a rule violation and should be punished as such while others say that the underinflated football didn't change the outcome of the game since it was a blow out. But to make matters worse it has been reported that Tom Brady throughout this entire investigation hasn't been really helpful which has made rumors come out about the fact that he knew that he broke the rules and tried to hide the evidence.

Now I have thought about this for a long time and I have come to the conclusion that the New England Patriots will push the rules of the NFL until there is an uneven playing field. As we all know during the 2007 season when the New England Patriots were caught in violation of the rules with Spygate against the New York Jets for videotaping the Jets defensive play calls. Since 8 years ago the New England Patriots image has changed from "Americas Team" to a bunch of cheaters. But there are still fans that have stayed on Tom Brady's side because of the fact that he has still played at a Elite Level without the necessary help needed and he still managed to appear in three more Super Bowls while winning the most recent one by beating the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 49.

Now I personally believe that we all make plenty of mistakes in our lives but there comes a point to when you have to learn from your mistakes and move on with your life. So this is the last chance for Tom Brady and Bill Belichick to clean up their already tainted image.
