On Friday October 16th Lamar Odom had opended his eyes for the first time since being found in a Nevada Brothel a couple of days earlier.
It's shocking to hear how Lamar Odom has went from former NBA Champion and 6th Man of the Year with the Los Angeles Lakers to being found in a brothel with Cocaine and Viagra in his system unconscious. Lamar has been through many trials and tribulations during his lifetime but to be honest I would never think that he would have to go through something like this. I don't know if its because of poor decisions that he has made or the family or friends that he has allowed in his circle. But one thing is for sure he need to make some serious life changes so that somethinig like this will never happen ever again.
Sometimes as fans we forget that these athletes are real people with real issues and problems. Many athletes need to consider that everyone around them is not true friends but enemies in secret. Also they need to realize that like their bank accounts they need to grow as people and understand that some of the things that they use to do won't fly when you become an adult. Lamar Odom has been given a second chance at Life and I hope that he takes advantage of it.
