Pete Rose still banned from MLB

One of the greatest dissapointments in Baseball History is that former Cincinnati Reds First Baseman and Manager Pete Rose is not in the MLB Hall of Fame. Many won't allow Pete Rose in the Baseball Hall of Fame and allowed at Major League Baseball events in general is because of the fact that when he was a Manager for the Reds he would bet on games which is illegal and has never been forgiven for it.

But the men and women who are responsible for upholding his ban on Baseball need to remember that he was an amazing player before he was a manager. His Career batting average was .303, Career 160 Home Runs, 1,314 Career RBIs, and Career .375 OBP. As Espn Analyst Stephen A. Smith has said on his show "First Take" numerous time "America is the land of second chances" and I believe that Pete Rose should be given grace and mercy. He didn't commit a heinous act and he didn't commit a crime as well.

I understand that rules are rules but it has been a long time since Pete Rose has been apart of MLB and this issue that is hovering over Baseball needs to be finally put to rest. Because as this issue isn't resolved then it will continue to get worse and worse. The Cincinnati Reds organization has forgiven him by having him put into the Reds Hall of Fame and MLB should do the same thing.
