Who will take the NFC?

There is one more day until two of the hottest teams in the NFL will show off in Atlanta, Georgia for a chance to go to Super Bowl 51 in Houston, Texas.

As I look at the Green Bay Packers they have started out the season slow at 4-6 with defensive struggles and a lack of a running game many were wondering what was happening with this team that normally dominates the NFC North? But then it all changed when Aaron Rodgers took his game to another level and the team has corralled around him by winning 6 straight in the regular season.

Once entering the Playoffs they defeated the New York Giants who had one of the best defenses in the league, a 2-time Super Bowl Champion, and star studded receiver core. But at the end of the day it didn't matter because when time called for it Aaron Rogers answered the bell with touchdown, after touchdown, after touchdown.

Then against the #1 seed Dallas Cowboys who have won 11-straight regular season games Aaron Rogers and the Packers stepped up to the plate. But it wasn't easy because the Cowboys are known for eating up the clock offensively with the All-Pro RB Ezekiel Elliot running behind the best Offensive Line in the game. Also Jordy Nelson, the Packers #1 Receiver, didn't play because of 2 broken ribs suffered in the Wild Card win against the Giants. But once again it didn't matter, because with Zeke rushing over 100 yards and Cowboys Receiver, Dez Bryant, having over 100 yards and 2 touchdowns the Packers had to make some big plays to win the game. With 35 seconds left Aaron Rogers rolled left and passed to his Tight End Jared Cook for a huge 1st down. After that amazing play the Packers Kicker Mason Crosby had to hit a 51 yard field goal for the win and he nailed it winning the game and sending the Packers to Atlanta.

The Atlanta Falcons have played great all year behind the explosive Falcons offense which includes the MVP candidate, Matt Ryan, All-Pro Wide Receiver Julio Jones, and Running Backs Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman. Now I had my doubts about this team because this isn't the first time that the Falcons have had a great season and it ended up burning in flames because off losses in the past Playoff games. But Matt Ryan has taken his game to another level this year and it has shown game after game.

Entering the Playoffs the Falcons faced the Seattle Seahawks who have enough Playoff experience and talent to knock off the Falcons. Even though they lost Earl Thomas earlier in the Season the Seahawks still have Cornerback Richard Sherman, Strong Safety Cam Chancellor, Defensive End Michael Bennett, and Quarterback Russell Wilson. As the game went on the Seahawks would match the Falcons point for point early on in the game but then the Falcons exploded on the Seahawks exploiting every matchup possible and coming out with a big win.

As a result of what I have seen I believe this NFC Championship Game will be one for the Books. It will be a high scoring game and both Quarterbacks will throw for multiple touchdowns. But at the end of the day I believe that the Falcons will be too much for the Packers to overcome because of how the Falcons are versatile Offensively both in the Passing game and the Running game and even though their defense isn't great I believe they will get a chance force some turnovers which result in the Atlanta Falcons heading to Super Bowl 51.
